Kids’ Drawing Contest: Show Us What “We ❤️ Lemont” Means to You!
The Lemont Public Library and Lemont Keepataw Day invite young artists to participate in the 2026 Kids' Drawing Contest!
This year’s theme is “We ❤️ Lemont.” We want to see what makes Lemont such a wonderful place to call home. Show us what you love most about living in our community—from the Library, schools, parks, and community pool to family, friends, neighborhood events, and favorite local traditions.
You might be inspired by Lemont’s unique geography, including its scenic waterways, towering bluffs, nature preserves, and beautiful outdoor spaces. Or perhaps you want to celebrate the people and places that make Lemont special, whether it's spending time with family, learning at school, playing with friends, or exploring all that our town has to offer.
Use your imagination and creativity to share what makes you say, “We ❤️ Lemont!”

Contest Rules:
- Print the official entry form here or pick one up at the Lemont Public Library.
- Submit a drawing that illustrates the theme “We ❤️ Lemont.”
- Open to children ages 8 to 14.
- Entry forms must be submitted at the Coloring Contest Drop Box near the children’s section entrance at the Lemont Public Library (50 E. Wend Street).
- Deadline for entries is Monday, July 13, 2026.
- A parent or guardian must accompany the child in the parade if selected.
- Participants must be available on Sunday, September 6, 2026, (during Labor Day weekend) from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.
